Disney room discounts

We have seen that there is currently a 10% room only discount for Disney resorts and are contemplating booking our stay at the Grand Floridian. However, we if book now with the discount and then before our stay in November a better discount is released (such as the AP discount) can we amend the booking? If we do, would we incur any fees?

Do you mean a booking direct with Disney on Disney.com?
Their T&Cs here http://adisneyworld.disney.go.com/media/ibc/DisneyWorldIBC/IBC/popups/popup_cro_terms.html
Last time we booked with them we could change/cancel upto 24 hours before arrival with no fee, looks like they have changed it to 5 days now.

Is this the Mousesavers hot deals discount? If so it is booked through Disney UK and you would lose your deposit if you switched to an AP discount as that will need to be booked through Disney US.
