Disney ride based movies

Did anyone else like The Tower of Terror movie? I thought it was cute. I haven't seen The Country Bears yet? I am anxious for the next two...Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean. They look interesting, especially Pirates.

I didn't know there was a ToT movie. I *am* interested in seeing Pirates -- but albeit more for Orlando Bloom than for any plot...

There was a ToT tv movie on the wonderful world of Disney about 3 years ago. It started Kristen Dunst. I thought it was great. But I'm a sucker for those type of ghost stories. You find out the back stories of the ghost characters you get a glimpse of on the ride.

I didn't see the Country Bears movie. I kinda wanted to but never got around to it. I was disappointed that they didn't use the characters from the actual attraction. A Haunted Mansion movie could be great if they do it right.

The TOT movie also starred Steve Guttenburg. You can purchase it in the gift shop of TOT. It is in VHS format. I have also seen it on eBay.

Country Bears movie has some of the characters from the movie. Trixie looks more like Teddi Beara--or else she lost a lot of weight. But she was the female singer with some of the fellows from the attraction. I have not seen it in a couple weeks so will not try to tell you which guys, but they are names you will know. I THINK it was Henry and Tennessee but forget who else.

Im not sure of this, but the TOT is based on an old eppisode of the Twilight Zone. Isnt it?

TOT ride was not based on an episode of the show. They hunted for some footage of the narrator of the show that they could add to the ride so that it would fit the theme of Twilight Zone. It was hard to find some footage of him not specifically referring to the show in question and those would not have fit the story they wanted to tell on the ride.

I could be wrong but I don't think it was based on any particular episode. I think the imagineers came up with the story line. Anyone know for sure?

The ToT movie is run on the Disney Channel pretty frequently. My DD loves it and watches it every time it's on. I thought it was kind of stupid, which is too bad, because I love the ride.

WHITEGLOVES: We used to live in Bethlehem PA, Now we are in northwest Indiana--near Gary--as in the Music Man's song, GARY INDIANA, GARY INDIANA, GARY INDIANA, ....." I grew up in upstate NY. When people ask where I am from I say "How far do you want to go back?"

We have over 18 inches of lake effect snow. How about you?
