Disney rewards ?

Hi. We might go to Disneyland tomorrow. I thought I had my rewards card but cant find it. I had read you can call and they'd put the points on right away but I cant find the card. I also read on the wdw mb that someone went to the park and got a reward card on main street and they put the points on it.

So can someone tell me if i go to the cutomer service on main street in Disneyland Ca and request a disney visa rewards card with my points they will give it to me or credit that to the AP's we plan on getting????????

You can definitely get a disney rewards card at the parks. I have picked mine up at guest services inside DCA. They just give you the card and then you call the customer service line and they transfer the points over to the new card.

I am not sure if they transfer points from a lost card to a new card, but I am guessing they should be able to because they know how many points you have left.. and should be able to just void the old card.

Hopefully someone else can pop in and confirm that part.

Yes, you can transfer points from a lost card. Mine was stolen, and they cancelled the old card and then I gave them the numbers on the card I got from Guest Services and they put the total balance on the new card and I was able to use it immediately.

You don't need to know the numbers of your missing card, nor your balance. She did go over the most recent charges against the card with me, since mine had been stolen she wanted to be sure that no unauthorized charges had been made.....since there weren't I can't speak of how they handle that, but I'd guess I would have been out since it's not got the same protection as a real credit card.

Just be sure when you get home and find the missing card that you destroy it, because she did say that it was flagged and if anyone tried to use it they would contact security. Not what you want to try to explain, lol.

thanks for the info. We ended up not going. I didnt go to bed til late and I've been fighting this cold. Started out with a sore throat now my nose. I'm taking the antibotics and took my last pill of Z-pack. One min i feel like i'm better then the next still sick. I woke up this morning and decided since i'm a screamer on the rides, it wouldnt be a good idea. Plus the news said windy and cold. I'm off Thanksgiving week so hopfully nextweekend or Thanksgiving week.

I'm going to look for my card but if I still cant find it then I'm glad I can still get on at the park


DD has been blowing her nose so hopefing she wont get sick uugh!
