Disney Rewards Visa offering

Same here.:confused3

I called Chase Visa, but the service rep did not seem to know exactly.
From what she conveyed, the bonus rewards will show up 6-8 weeks afterwards. But is that 6-8 weeks after my stmt closes each month, or 6-8 weeks after the end of the promotion (March 31st)??

Quoting myself to add.......
The small print from the offer states:

The bonus rewards offer only applies to eligible purchases made with your Disney Rewards Visa Card from Chase above the specified hurdle each calendar month from January 1 to March 31, 2011. All of your eligible net purchases for each of these three months will be automatically counted, as long as you have enrolled by March 31, 2011. You do not earn rewards on balance transfers, cash advances, any checks that are used to access your account, overdraft advances, money orders, interest, unauthorized or fraudulent charges, or fees of any kind, including fees for products that protect or insure the balances of your Account. The maximum reward accumulation during this promotion is 100 bonus Disney Dream Reward Dollars, which equates to $5,000 total over the specified hurdle. To be eligible for this offer, your credit card account must be open as of November 1, 2010. Only one consumer account per household is eligible to receive 3X rewards. Credit card product changes during the promotion period will forfeit this bonus rewards offer. Your credit card account must be open and not in default to receive the bonus rewards at the time the rewards are posted. Please refer to your rewards enrollment materials for information regarding program details. The bonus rewards will be reflected on your monthly credit card statement approximately 6 to 8 weeks from the month in which the transaction posts to your credit card statement and/or from the time you have enrolled in the program.

Clear as mud?

Thank you for posting. This is VERY helpful as I did not save any of the original offer details (that will never happen again). It is as I expected.

Since your bonus dollars are not on this statement (which is what I would expect; I don't understand why they aren't there...) I would guess that they will appear in the next billing cycle.

Unfortunately I overspent, not realizing there was a $100 maximum. :headache: I could have earned better bonus points elsewhere on that amount, but oh well. It's really hard to monitor multiple bonus point offers from different companies. I still made a few more points than I would have.

I also did not realize that the maximum applies per household, but luckily, I just kept it to one of our (two) cards in order to avoid making that minimum purchase hurdle twice.

I just hope to have my extra rewards by May 29th, since that's when I'll be at Disney. Sounds like it may be close...;)

thanks for the info! :thumbsup2

What you can do is be sure you have recieved your rewards card with a minimum amount of your rewards dollars on it (I think it is $20). From what I understand, once you have the card initially loaded, you can transfer more dollars onto it by phone. So as soon as those new dollars appear, you can put them on your card easily.

In January, we added dollars while we were at Disney by iphone, because the statement closed while we were there and we wanted the extra money! ;)

Hi Guys, just tell me that our cruise charges and hotel room charges for reservations and payment will be allowed in this promotion. Oh Please.:goodvibes

YAY!:banana::banana::banana:

My Disney Visa statment cut yesterday and I received my 100 Bonus Rewards!

Under the Disney Dream Reward Dollars section it shows:
Triple Bonus Rewards Offer - Additional 2% = 100

Just enrolled for this. Some months we do go beyond $3000.00 (which is what we had to meet), b/c we pay for everything we can with our card.

In all the years I've had the Disney Rewards Visa, they have never, ever offered any bonus rewards for me. :confused3

If you have not been getting these offers then it sounds like you did not select the "Register to receive news and offers from Disney Rewards" on the manage your account site.

I've never received an offer either. I went to the site, which linked back to Chase, where I don't see any option to do that. I'm sure I'm missing something - can you help?

The link I gave was the site I used to signup for Chase, and under the
Disney Rewards® Visa® Credit Card
Manage your Credit Card Account at Chase.com
and where it said Choose an option, I selected "Register to receive news and offers from Disney Rewards"
Then it did take me to the chase webpage where I created an online account. Maybe try sending an email to the following address.
disneyrewards@disneycreditcard.com

Oh, well, I tried the link but since I already was registered on the site, I couldn't get to the Register link, and I couldn't find it on Chase. I'd try the e-mail but I don't want to send them my credit card number in an unencrypted e-mail. I'll just stick with what I've got. Thanks for the link, though.
