Disney Rewards Visa offering

I just got the balance transfer one, it was 3X for each dollar but then was capped at $150. Oh well I only wanted one card anyways and it was $150 disney dollars so that gets us started for our trip this year at least.

We were just there in August and booked room only and I got the 6 month no interest just for booking a room. Actually, it runs out in February and will be paying it with tax refund. So, the room only worked for me zero percent for 6 months.

Must be booked with Disney directly. Not sure about rooms - AFAIK it was only good for packages.

I've had my card for a while now, but I remember at one time you got 1% back on all purchases, but you got 4% on disney purchases, such as at the disney store. Does anyone know if you still get 4% if you pay off your vacation with the visa?

Must have been a promo. It's only 1% for everything...

So I am a bit confused, I thought you could use the Disney reward card, like gift cards - but I read earlier that not everywhere accepts it. I am wondering if I could keep using it or just switch back to my regular credit card that gives me cash back.

The Disney Visa credit card is usable everywhere that VISA is accepted.

The Reward card - the card you transfer your reward dollars onto - is not accepted everywhere. However, if you are staying on property, you can charge to your room and then use the Reward card to pay those charges off.

We use the dining plan and charge the tips (family of 6 = automatic 18% even though youngest was 6 months old!!) to the room and use the Rewards to cover that.

They told me the other day on the phone that a qualifying stay was one night and one ticket for the 0% APR for 6 months.

We did not get an offer either and I called, they said nothing was attached to my account... we put about 3k a month it so I guess we use it too much!

I received the 3X rewards offer for purchases over $3,000 too. I know I enrolled, but I did not keep the flyer.

Did someone mention a $100 LIMIT?
Is it $100 for all 3 months, or $100 per month?
Is the limit the same for everyone?

It is a max of $100 for the 3 months total. It is calculated on anything over $3000. So you start making the $ after you spend 3G's.

The way it was explained to me: you make 1% on your 'base' amount, then you continue to earn 1% + 2% bonus= 3%, so the 2% bonus is added up to a limit of $100. So out of the triple points you are earning, 1 is base, 2 are bonus. Those 2 bonus dollars should be calculated into the $100 max vs 3 bonus dollars. I hope she is right.

my statement just closed and I did spend over 3k, but my Disney dollars over the 3k were still at 1%? There wasn't any extra dollars and I did sign up the day I got the mailer. Do the extra dollars get added on at the end of the promotion?

Just got my new DDR Visa in the mail today. $200 reward for first use. If I use it today and the billing cycle ends on 3/11 - how long will it take for the rewards to post to my account and then for me to get the rewards card delivered?

The paperwork says 6-8 weeks to post but then do I have to wait for a billing cycle too? What has your experience been with the timing on these rewards posting and being available for use? I am going to WDW 5/7 and want to be able to use the points for some of our meals.

I called Chase Visa, but the service rep did not seem to know exactly.
From what she conveyed, the bonus rewards will show up 6-8 weeks afterwards. But is that 6-8 weeks after my stmt closes each month, or 6-8 weeks after the end of the promotion (March 31st)??
