I was wondering what everybody's opinion is about ownership of this cc. Is it worth my time? I was thinking of applying for one to take advantage of the 6 months no interest if you are booking everything through disney. I was wondering if I should get yet another cc. All your opinions would really help me make my decision.

Sure. If you're not squeezed by debt already and you were going to use a credit card anyway, it makes sense. Might as well earn some Disney points for cash on your vacation and perhaps use that 6 months for a little extra cushion.

We have had the Disney Visa for about 4 years. I try to put our large purchases, our payments to Disney and a few monthly bills on there to help build up the points. We pay it off every month if not several times a month. This year we have 363 points accumulated for our trip in March. Should probably have about 370 if not more by the time we actually leave.

We usually use the Disney Reward Dollars for a special more expensive purchase. Last year our daughter and I bought this great rolling, carry on suitcase and a Dooney and Burke wristlet.

I have the Disney Visa along with another reward cc's. I have found that I can get more bang for my buck with other cards. You need to spend $100.00 just to get one dream reward dollar. What those dollars can be used for is limited as well. Also, the savings on the interest for using the Disney Visa may not be the best way to save on your trip. We have found that we can earn many more points with cards such as Capital One and AMEX. They have more redemption flexibility too. We use our point/rewards towards airfare to Disney which is a bigger savings for us. :thumbsup2

Thank you for your input. I will take that into consideration. It makes my decision easier to make.
