Disney Rewards Visa $100 GC question

I just recieved my rewards Visa in the mail, and I applied during a $100 GC offer. We are leaving on 8/18 for our trip, and I'm trying to figure out how I can get the $100 before then.

Will the $100 be credited as reward dollars that I have to request a rewards card for, or will a $100 GC be mailed as soon as I make a purchase?

Does anyone know if there is a minimum amount I have to spend on my first purchase to get the $100 reward?

I'm just worried that the reward card won't be here in time for our trip. Thanks for your help!

I made a small purchase (less than $25) & paid the bill as soon as I got it. I received the $100 GC in the mail very quickly after I made the payment. You might sign up for electronic payment. This way you can pay online as soon as the billing cycle closes. Good luck!

I made a purchase the day after activating the card. My $100 gift card arrived less than two weeks later. It came even before my first statement. I did not have to make any request for the gift card.
