Disney Rewards Redemption Card

Anyone ever have any trouble using their Disney Rewards card from the Chase Disney Visa card in the parks? We are headed to Disneyland in 3 week and I have just transferred my points on to my rewards redemption card and want to make sure there will be no issues using the cards in Disneyland, Downtown Disney or California Adventure.

Disneyland and California will be fine, except some food carts that don't take credit cards but those are few and far between. Downtown Disney stores are independently operated so they will not take the card, except at the Disney owned stores

Before you leave call the redemption center AKA the number on the card, and make sure your money got transferred.

Last year when I went to use the card they said there was no money on the card yet I had not ever used the card. Called the number on the card and they confirmed that there was no money on my card. She checked and all of my rewards $$$ were still on my credit card. So she transferred the money while I was on the phone with her and she gave me a $25 credit for the trouble.

So just double check that the funds are on the card.

The only issue I have had is that they no longer allow you to use your Disney Visa to get 10% off purchases over $50 if you use your rewards card to pay for part of the purchase.

Thanks for the tip. I'll use the Redemption Card for purchases less than $50.

Here's the verbiage from the website that seems to contradict their policy ...

Perk: Receive 10% off on select merchandise purchases of $50 or more at select locations at the Disneyland® Resort
When: Anytime during normal Theme Park hours
Where to go: Valid at select Disneyland® Resort stores and pin cart locations throughout the resort
What to do: Use your valid Disney's Premier Visa® Card, Disney Rewards® Visa® Card or Disney Rewards® Redemption Card and mention this offer to receive the discount

Never had a problem using the Disney Rewards card anywhere! Even some (not all) of the snack carts took it.
