I have some points available on my Chase Disney Rewards Visa Card.

I want to use them for our trip in December. How long does it take to get the card once I redeem my points?

Thanks.

I'd like to know the same thing. I ordered one with just the minimum twenty points about a week and a half ago. Once I get the actual card, I'll transfer the desired points onto the card. I can see wher e the card was issued, but I've yet to receive it. I couldn't find anything on the websitethat says how long it should take to get the card.

I'll come back and post if/when I receive it.

They tell you it will take between 7-10 business days. I've had it take 2 weeks and another time it took 8 days. I guess it's just a luck of the draw (and mailman!) I already ordered mine and our trip isn't coming up anytime soon, but I figure I might as well get it now before I forget and can always load more points on it later.

HTH! :goodvibes

I called for mine in September about 3 weeks before I went to WDW. I had it within 5 business days.

I just got mine a week ago. It took about 1.5 weeks from the time I ordered it until it appeared in my mailbox.

I can't wait to use it!

I would like to pay on my card but leave my vacation balance on there since it has 6 months no interest. Is there some way I can do that? :confused3

Can't you just pay the difference between what you owe and what your Disney vacation cost?

It's my understanding that Chase knows what portion is your Disney vacation and won't charge you interest for the first 6 months.

Maybe someone else can verify this?:confused3

I didn't order my card ahead - I called about 3 weeks ahead and they told me to be safe, I'd be better off getting it once I got there. I went to Guest Relations at MK the first morning - they give you the card and you call Chase and they load the card with your reward dollars.

Alisha8 - Chase applies payments to the portion subject to interest first. We had gone to WDW in Sept. and charged our package to get the 0% for 6 mos. I also made some other charges on the card. I made 2 online payments of $500 each since I got back, and with card due date on 10/26, I wanted to pay off the rest of the non 0% part but I had seen on boards that if you make more than 1 payment in a month, Chase applies the additional payments to the interest free part. I called Chase to see if this was true and the customer service rep said no, the payments would go to portion subject to interest first, and he calculated the amount to pay off the non-interest free portion, so I made that payment on-line. I guess I'll be 100% sure when I get my statement next week.

Good to know. I didn't realize one could do that.

I requested mine about 2.5 weeks before our last vacatoin and it came in about 1.5 weeks.

I didn't activate it until we go to the parks though as I had forgotten. So I was standing in the ticket line while calling on my cell to activate!
