Disney Reward $. The last trip, we ended up with a card and 20$ certificates. Found out no one there would take the card! But can't remember -- do they give change on the 20$ certificates? Say your meal is $38.65 and give them $40. What happens then. DH and I can NOT remember!!

I'm a little confused. Who/what/where would not take the Disney Reward card? We load ours up right before every trip and almost every place takes the card. I do believe that there are some small snack type kiosk that only deal in cash.

By the certificates are you referring to the ones they issued before the cards? I don't think they use those anymore, only the card.

It's a reward card that you use exactly like a gift card. It's accepted at about 98% of the places there. If your bill is $34 and you have $27 on your card, you pay the $7 difference either by cash, charge, room charge, or first born. I had over $1800 on my card our last trip and managed to spend every point (and then some!! )

There are no certificates to worry about. Just make sure you transfer your points to your card before you leave and have fun!
