According to the Disney Parks Blog, Bob Iger just finished up a major presentation over in China.

“We are building something truly special here in Shanghai that not only showcases the best of Disney’s storytelling but also celebrates and incorporates China’s incredibly rich heritage to create a one-of-a-kind destination that will delight and entertain the people of China for generations to come,” said Iger speaking to media during today’s presentation at the Shanghai Expo Centre. “We are taking everything we’ve learned from our six decades of exceeding expectations – along with our relentless innovation and famous creativity to create a truly magical place that is both authentically Disney and distinctly Chinese.”
Exciting new specifics from Shanghai:

It will feature 6 themed lands, and all sorts of new immersive attractions. The lands consist of:
1)Mickey Avenue
A)Photo Opportunity Spot
B)Largest Store in the Park, equivalent to the emporium

2)Gardens of Imagination
A)Fantasia Carousel
B)Dumbo the Flying Elephant
C)Castle Shows and other entertainment
D) Mickey's Storybook Express, an all new parade going along Disney's longest parade route. (I'm not sure if that includes the defunct World Showcase Tapestry of Nations Route which was infamously long)
E) Ignite the Dream, a Nighttime Spectacular of Magic and Light. (This is said to use drones, but this is the first we've heard about it)

3)Fantasyland
A)Voyage to the Crystal Grotto
B)Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
C)Peter Pan's Flight
D)Winnie the Pooh
C)Wonderland Maze

4)Adventure Isle
A)Challenege Trails
B)Soarin' Over the Horizon
C)Roaring Rapids

5)Treasure Cove
A)Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle for Sunken Treasure
B)Pirate Ship Play Area
C)Explorer Canoes

6)Tomorrowland- Here's and awesome video-https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=4dKsvqCEbrI
A)Tron Lightcycle Power Run
B)Buzz Lightyear Planet Rescue
C)Jetpacks

More on the roster of attractions is available here: https://www.shanghaidisneyresort.com.cn/en/about/

Nothing unexpected except there will be Marvel and Star Wars areas:
"In addition, close to Tomorrowland, Shanghai Disneyland will have the new Star Wars Launch Bay and Marvel Universe. Neither is scheduled to include a major new attraction, but they will feature sets, props, memorabilia, and other experiences to immerse visitors in two of the company’s newest and most valuable franchises that will be driving new movies and other content for many years to come."

So maybe just fun places to get your photo taken and buy souvenirs?

Also of note, they said of their Fantasyland, it "will have a new version of the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train that recently opened in Orlando." I don't know if that means new as in a new copy or an actual update.

Seems like it's shaping up to be a nice park, with a great diverse set of offerings.

Additional analysis, with some of the struggles Disney has faced, but overwhelmingly glowing:

Now that I'm finished reporting the news... Personnel opinion! Seems like it's quite light on rides. I have a bad feeling about this...

You beat me too it! Is that the closest we will see Bob to Shanghai just a model of it haha. Should be interesting going forward.

Yeah, he's safely several miles away from the construction site, because you know he doesn't have the permits to go on site. You'd think they could be arranged, but nope...

Yeah that is strange. Well they had that countdown clock going on the Shanghai Disneyland website, check and see if there's more time on it. I'm on the phone and it won't load.

Good morning America is supposed to have someone live from Shanghai Disneyland tomorrow lets see if they are actually there or in the model room with Bob.

Yeah clock isn't there anymore

The mine train they are getting is supposed to be a copy. Interesting the name of soarin is Soarin' over the Horizon look for that to come to the U.S. not long after they are done with it being exclusive. Also interesting really no version of frontierland. Ignite the dream will be the night time spectacular.

Bob Iger has officially been publicly filmed at the Shanghai park! He also says that the deal with China was Complicated.... Really Bob? That WDW footage they show it is pre NFL.

Chinese Media doesn't hold a candle to what ABC did here. It was sooooo much better than the videos that we've seen so far. I've got to say I'm more excited about this project. Disney brought out the pomp and circumstance and it's great.

Yeah that raft ride looks pretty cool, and I am not a big fan of raft rides. And it is July 15th in Shanghai, I believe they are 12 hours ahead of the East coast.

Bob isn't afraid of US media. I just love the old footage of WDW and him saying China is complicated.

A look at the train station entrance?
