I have a question after looking at the Beach Club resort pics on here - I've seen on a couple sites including Disney's own site that a standard room (studio?) comes either with a king-size bed or 2 queens. Is that true? I'm hoping to rent points for next March and need 2 queen beds.

You may be confusing the Beach Club (hotel side) with the Beach Club Villas (DVC side). The regular BC standard rooms have either 2 queens, or a king bed (by request only - you can't reserve one type over another). The BCV studios have a queen bed, and a full-size sleeper sofa.

If you're looking at renting DVC points, then you would be staying at BCV, with the above-mentioned queen and sleeper sofa.

If you want to rent DVC points and need 2 queens, your best bet is the OKW studios. They have 2 queen beds. All other DVC studios have the queen bed and sleeper sofa.

Thank you, Tinkeroo, for the info on the Beach Club Villas. That makes perfect sense to me! A sleeper sofa would work too - now to find a DVC owner to rent points and get this vacation on a roll!!

Thanks for posting your great BWV pics, princessjv! What an awesome view you had! We are wait-listed for a one-bedroom BW view there for January 2008. How did you find the up-keep on the studio? How was the service?

The view was wonderful! I had heard that some people don't like to noise of the BW, but we felt it was part of the atmosphere (with balcony door shut, it was quit) . The service was wonderful! They really do their best to make you feel WELCOME HOME! Our studio was well maintained and there really was no issues with our room. Good Luck with the wait list!

Wow, we got one of those little napkin/towel things too! We stayed at the Contemporary, and we got a girl, a cat, and a dog.

Ok I am going to be the only one I think who does not like the remodeled Contemporary rooms. Way to contemporary for me. I really do not like them.

I love the newly remodeled rooms at the Contemporary! I wish I wasnt so addicted to the EPCOT resort area hotels I would love to give the Contemporary a try!!

Any new pictures of a 2 bedroom villa at the beach club...that is where i will be staying May 2008!!

Am I the only one who thinks the Contemporary rooms look an awful lot like the Poly Concierge rooms? We stayed Poly Conc last year and it looks almost exactly like the Contemp room, not including the bathroom. Poly bathroom was very different.

The Poly room has so much more storage!

This was our first time at CR - We loved it! We never stayed before the remodel. We'd definitely go back!!!
