Disney Resort ROOM Picture Thread *Index page 93*

You could probably fit her in the sink area and then close the curtain for privacy and a "space of her own." There's room there if you put the crib over by the closet.

The other place you could put it is where the bench sits, and then you could move the bench to the side of the bed or something.

If you need to leave the room to give her privacy, it's very pleasant to sit outside your room (either on the curb or a nearby bench if you're on the first floor) or on some chairs (take your room chairs out or bring your own camping chairs) out on the common walkway area if you're up higher.

You'll love POFQ. It's a lovely, intimate resort.

Thanks for the input!! I was thinking about the bathroom area with the curtain - as long as we didn't need to visit while she was still sleeping! :rolleyes1

We are going with additional family members and have 3 rooms total, so we'll have somewhere to hang out or someone to listen for her!

I can't wait!! :Pinkbounc

Here are some of our pics from Coronado Springs over Christmas week 2004, our room was 4220, corner room, second floor overlooking the pool.It was a beautiful stay for 10 days.We had a nice size fridge,a safe and there was a curtain separating sleeping area from the sink area. We were in the casitias and the landscaping in just gorgeous, hope you like the pics

Okay, I feel kinda silly asking, but where does that pathway lead to? The picture looks like it goes towards the Contemporary, but since I know that's kinda technically impossible, I'm flummoxed! (love that word!)
I have no idea! I'm betting it's a pathway with a dead-end where you can stroll towards the Contemporary but not actually right up to it. The closer pathways in the picture are just internal pathways at the Poly.

Hi,
Just wondered if there are any pictures of the Casitas or Ranchos rooms on this thread ?

I've stayed in Cabanas but fancy a change this year.

....wow, I guess they 'did it different' this time around...when we stayed here during Christmas, there was a HUGE Christmas tree in this fountain, covered with gold balls, pointsettias, and white doves....

Where are the rooms that have that fairy decor? I love the bedspread. If I ever stay at the GF, I want a fairy room. :lovestruc

Edit: Obviously your room was in the Sugar Loaf building. What I meant is, do you have to be concierge to get a fairy room or are other buildings decorated like that?

Here's some information from the GF FAQ thread:
I hear that there are different themes that the rooms are decorated in. Which theme is where?

Main Building
Most rooms are decorated in Cameo.
Two concierge rooms are decorated in Historic.
All Honeymoon Rooms are decorated in Floral.

Sago Cay
All rooms are decorated in Swan.

Sugar Loaf Key
All rooms are decorated in Cameo.

Conch Key
All rooms are decorated in Alice.

Boca Chica
Most rooms are decorated in Floral.
Two Garden View rooms are decorated in Historic.
One Lagoon View room is decorated in Historic.

Big Pine Key
All rooms are decorated in Alice.

I believe that the fairy bedspread is the "Cameo" one, and according to this it's only available in the main building or Sugar Loaf building, so you would have to be staying concierge level to have that bedsread. Not to worry though--all the bedspreads are cute!

Elizabeth, your, pictures are just lovely! But not to sound too ignorant, what is the "people pen" for? I've heard about it here on the boards and have seen many photos but just can't figure out why it is there? :confused3
Thanks, oh and also love your wedding pix in your signature. Not only is it beautiful but when I see it, I know the post is from someone who always gives good advice and helpful comments. You got the magic :wizard: and thanks for sharing it!

Last year the tree (as described) was down at the other end of the lobby. It looked fantastic. You looked all the way down the lobby with all those beautiful swags to see the tree standing there in the windows.
