If you are seeing red x's, which is what was happening to me, right click on the picture, click on properties, cut and paste the URL (middle of the box of info), and then paste to your address bar. Click go, and you should see the picture. Sometimes this even makes the pictures work in the original post. I would love to know why I can only see 2/3 of the pictures most of the time.

Most likely this is caused because the site the pictures are posted on does not allow remote linking. When you paste the URL into a new browser, it is a direct link, and allowed by the site.
