Ahhh... you should get a program (lots of free ones I think) that saves jpg files more efficiently or optimizes them. I get the same thing with my Kodak camera when I save my photos. I use Paint Shop Pro (purchased) and just opening and saving the file reduces the file size by 1/2. For Photobucket I resize the photo with really reduces the file size.

Andy

We use photoshop for most of our enhancements etc not that we do much with them. I prefer to save teh file as large as possible I hate resizing them.

I agree with not resizing just in case you need that high resolution. For stuff I send in emails and on websites I take a copy and then resize the copy. If you have Photoshop I'd suggest talking a copy, give it a good size (say a width of 750 pixels) and then save it into photobucket. I know Photoshop will give you a file size that is a lot less than 256K. There's something wrong if it doesn't.

Good luck,
Andy

I love your pics. Thanks for sharing. :goodvibes

Thanks for the compliment. I am not sure if you were asking what camera I use, but if you were, it is a Canon EOS 10D Digital SLR

Just had to add : That last picture that I posted was from August 2004, it was taken with my old camera: a Canon S45

It was very early in the morning, I believe. That pool water was a bit chillier than the Hippy Dippy Pool. We loved POP.

Heres another I just found.

The view from our room at Pop Century

Do you remember your building number? I'm hoping to be able to walk out of our room and see the Mickey phone on our last morning!

Our room number was 0402, I don't know the building number...maybe if we go to the POP thread and check the map we can figure it out. It was the BEST location. The room was a non-smoking double with a connecting door to a King, but the King room didn't face the Mickey phone. Since the doors angle in towards each other, we were the only ones who got this view :) That picture was actually taken from inside our doorway. It was so great!
