I'm looking for some ways to save on my trip to Disney. Currently we have a room booked at All-Star Sports for July 3rd - 10th for our honeymoon and I have paid it in full or whatever. I'm wondering if there is any way that I could apply some sort of discount or code to the room to get a better deal. Does anyone know of any such deals for this hotel or another? I don't really know how to ask my question. I really wish the search function was working. :guilty: Can anyone offer some help?

I think I understand what you are saying. And yes, I believe you can call back with a discount. If not, and you are with in that window, able to cancel, without any pentalies you could always cancel your ressie and make a new one. Anyways, try AAA if you have that(not sure you have get that in Canada) and check out mousesavers.com, as well as allearsnet.com, brings you discount information.
Hope this helps! :flower:

Thank you for your help. I have paid a deposit on the room. How long do I have to cancel and make changes? I guess I should ask, when is the latest we can do this?

If your ressie is room only, then you should be able to cancel with 100% refund of your one night deposit up until 5 days before check-in.

If your room ressie is part of a package (i.e. dream maker) than you only have until 45days prior to your check-in to cancel and/or make changes to your ressie without incurring any penalty or loss of deposit.

Your best bet IMO is to keep an eye on this site and the newspaper (travel section). Room only resort codes for July should come out around first of May. You can always change your ressies then.

You can call back and add the discount. We made a reservation at POFQ for March and when a code came out, we added it to the reservation. Then they sent us a new reservation. Check www.mousesavers.com I think I've seen discounts for Canada residents, but I'm not positive.

I love Nova Scotia - it's so pretty. I was there a couple of years ago and went to Halifax and Cape Breton. We stayed at the Keltic Lodge in Cape Breton. Hope you have a great honeymoon! I just got married this year. The trip for March will be our first anniversary.

Hi

There is a CAA discount for Canadian visitors. We just found this out on our last trip. After we made reservations we had to call back to request the discount but the CM had no problem redoing our reservation.

We went to WDW for our honeymoon three years ago and had a great time. I am sure that you will too.

I don't have any thing to say about room rates but wanted to give you another peice of advice.
Buy and wear the bride and groom Mickey ears. They are not very expensive about 13.00 I think and OH the fun and perks you can have.
The wife and I were there for our honeymoon in June of 2003 and we wore our ears everyday. Some of the things we received not including all the smiles and congrates were free Wine glasses at Cinderellas Castle, Cake in the restaurant in Germany, A car all to ourselves on It's a small world, Pics with tons of Characters, And handwrittein Fastpasses for Test Track from a very nice worker in Canada. So if at all possible get em and wear em.
