Disney replacing park characters with robots?

Anything is possible, but I would be surprised if this tech was meant to replace the characters who do Meet and Greets or actually interact with people. Parade float characters? Sure why not.

I don't believe it is to replace characters. It doesn't really make much sense or cut down on operations if they still need an operator pretty close by. It sounds like it could be for something new. I know scuttle was suppose to be able to do stuff like interact with people in queue and play games. Also like Mr. Potato head.

Why not. With all of the advanced planning required for a Disney vacation, they've already made robots out of the park visitors.

I doubt it would be for the M&G characters. MAYBE they would consider putting robots of characters on a parade float or something, But this is probably just for new attractions. I was impressed by the Lumiere animatronics in the Enchanted Tales attraction. That seemed so lifelike compared to all the older stuff.
