Disney Removes the Ability to Leave Reviews on FB?

Less is relative, fewer past pass available to you but more attractions for which you can get fast passes.

Seriously? I will explain it slowly- 3 fastpasses are LESS than what we got under Legacy FP. So no, less is not "relative" to our experience, it is reality.

Good night all, enjoy Universal. As I hope to in a couple of weeks.

Maybe after I try the new FP+ system at WDW I will have the same opinion as you do.

Interesting that you were complaining about people not answering your questions, and yet I did - no sarcasm...just responded politely to your scenarios, and yet no response.

I guess you weren't really interested in a discussion. :confused3

By the way, I just picked Labor Day weekend to compare hotel rates. It's the one and only I looked at, and I chose it because I am likely to stay at one or the other that weekend. Most expensive UO? Portofino @ $277. Least expensive WDW Deluxe? WL @ $386.

Good night!

Sorry it is late here and on my way to bed; I didn't see where you asked me a question.

I didn't, your 3 is less than 6 has nothing to do with the price of the resorts.

You also may only be able to get 3 Fast Passes but you have more attractions available than you did under the old system. That seems to be a positive to me.

Uhhhhh....you mean more attractions that never needed a FP to enjoy while you were burning time until your next real FP attraction? 3 IS less than 6...3 is also less than 8. I'm pretty sure 4 and 5 rank higher than 3, too. Here is what I brought home last week from DLR. Keep in mind...this is less than half of the FPs we used in 2 days. Keep in mind that World of Color and Roger Rabbit are disconnected from the system (oh, and if you really want to criss cross parks you can pull FPs in DL and DCA and neither counts toward the other. But that would probably cost you about 500 yards of walking if you wanted Soarin' and Indiana Jones ;))

Now let me ask YOU a question....what about that picture above should encourage ME (a LONG time visitor to WDW) give a rats "butt" about being able to get 3 a day in one park?

Pssst....look at the Indiana Jones FP closely....I can return at 10:25-11:25 am...and here is the kicker....read the small print...I can pull ANOTHER FP at 10:?;)

Isn't that a picture of two sets of 3 FPs for Monday and two sets of 3 FPs for Tuesday? What am I missing? Lol

I think you are missing the point where I said that is less than HALF of what we pulled on those days! Lol I brought those HOME.;) And that is day one and two. Lol

:rotfl2:

Yep! I missed the entire paragraph at the top of your post! I knew I had to be missing something! :rotfl:

So you pulled them and you didn't need them?

They were pulled as souvenirs. Per an earlier post from MH, none of the FPs pictured ran out on the days they were pulled. No defenseless children were harmed.

Disclosure....we actually gave 3 sets of FP away on our last day to unsuspecting guests. We wanted to go out with a little of the Magic we used to feel. Call us old fashioned. :)

This whole FP thing reminds me of this...

"If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't..."

:)

Thanks, Mesa. You are correct. The ONLY and I mean ONLY FP that ever ran out was Radiator Springs. I never even pulled one of those(but rode it 7 times with a RD 10 minute wait and 6 single rider lines - 5 out 6 times we were in the same car;)) . I only did that for the children. :)

I'm late to the conversation today (kind of like my life lately, seems like I'm late to everything :confused3) but ...

Well, is the car a two-seat convertible? I have three kids, so I know without test driving it that it wouldn't work well for me. I don't base my decision on the reviews, but on the fact that the parameters don't fit what I need.

This struck me as exactly the divide. For me, and let me stress that for me, the parameters for FP+ work well. I tend to travel either by myself or with one friend, I seldom do repeat rides, and the tiers don't bother me as I don't care for TSMM or RnRC in HS, and the only rides I like in EP are Soarin' and Mission Space. In MK, simply arriving at RD or staying late (or both) would allow me to do everything I wanted in a day and still leave me more than plenty of time to browse, peruse, and people watch.

Having said that, I also realize that the way I travel and tour is not how many other people do so, and that what works for me, or works well for me, may not (and probably won't) work well for others.

It is why I try to stay neutral in most FP+ discussions, because while I can see benefits I can also see where it imposes new restrictions.

[*]Ariel's Grotto - No longer exists.

[*] The Barnstormer

[*] Celebrate the Magic - Unnecessary.

[*] Dumbo the Flying Elephant - Helpful.

[*] Enchanted Tales with Belle

[*] The Haunted Mansion - Created more of a mess than before.

[*] it's a small world - Unnecessary.

[*] Mad Tea Party - Unnecessary.

[*] The Magic Carpets of Aladdin

[*] Main Street Electrical Parade - Unnecessary.

[*] Pirates of the Caribbean - Unnecessary

[*] Princess Fairytale Hall: Meet Cinderella and a Visiting Princess

[*] Princess Fairytale Hall: Meet Rapunzel and a Visiting Princess

[*] Seven Dwarfs Mine Train

[*] Tomorrowland Speedway

[*] Town Square Theater Mickey Mouse Meet and Greet

[*] Wishes Nighttime Spectacular - Unnecessary.

Did I miss something? I thought Ariels Grotto was brand new with the NFL expansion? Isn't that where she does her meet & greet in her mermaid form? When did Disney get rid of that? (and no, not aiming for snark or anything else, I am planning to do some character meets next month, and if she's gone or I have the wrong thing in my notes I'd like to know).

Oh, welcome back MH!! Hope you had a great trip out west!

Ariel's Grotto is her new meet and greet. It was also a meet and greet area years ago, and that one was closed. She met with Eric in Adventureland for a long time between the first grotto and the second.
