THere was a 40% off pin for dates starting August 21st. I forgot what dates it ran through, but it expired in the end of Feb. Doesn't mean that there won't be more, but there already was one out there.

I think it's the SPG rate on their website, but I just cancelled POR this AM and booked the Dolphin through hotels.com because I received an additional 10% off with their May discount code.

THEN, I went on restaurant.com and purchased three $25.00 coupon for their restaurants, Garden Grove, Bluezoo and Il Mulino, for $6.00 - using the MOM code!

This will be our first time at the Dolphin and I was hesitant, but hey, we don't use ME or the dining plan and it's a deluxe resort, I figured, why not?

I should add, you have to prepay the full hotel rate immediately. Just an FYI.

Am I missing something but Disney has covered those dates with several promotions for that time frame. Hate it that you missed your discount.

We are going the first week of August and am aware of the discounts that came out. We are not AP holders and the resort discount for that time was only for deluxes and villas - which even with a discount, was more than I wanted to spend. I wanted to stay within my budget and now I can....with the Dolphin. I'm good with that.

I never found these gift certificates to be that helpful, it's a 2 entree minimum, and they automatically add gratuity, 18-20%, which is bull! What if the waitress/waiter decides to be "lazy"...it's not a deal at all!
