I personally can't wait for most of this lineup of movies. I think that the Marvel movies have been (for the most part) fantastic. And it isn't like they have no-named schlubs, they have some really good talent playing in these roles. I think that Age of Ultron will be huge, only to be beat out by The Force Awakens at the end of the year. These strategic brand purchases by Disney, along with Pixar, have really positioned them well for the short, medium and long term. This is where Iger has done well for the company in my humble opinion.

I couldn't have said it better myself. Pixar needs to make sure they step up a little bit. I know lots of people get all nervous when there are problems with a movie and it gets delayed. Sometimes with regular motion pictures this may mean an repairable bomb, bot not if "repairs" are done right. World War Z was a good example of a flawed and repaired movie becoming successful. Pixar's way of doing things is to not hesitate to delay to make sure a movie is good. I'm hoping the Good Dinosaur will do very well because they took the time to make it right. There is often much discussion about original versus sequels. I could care less which they make as long as they make a good movie with a good STORY. It will be interesting to see if Pixar's culture that promotes artistic development will continue or if success brings some of the problems that happened to Disney Animation in the lean years. Good leadership can keep things fresh and produce great movies. I like Lasseter and hope he can keep it fresh.
