Wife and I are trying to come up with baby names for our new child being born in less than a month. We have a boy's name all picked out but having a difficult time with a girls name.

So I started thinking maybe it would be nice to have a Disney related girls name ready in case its a girl. But.....I am having a difficult time finding one I really like for a girl.

Here is what I have come up with off the top of my head. Does anyone have any other girl names related to Disney:

Ariel (I like this one, but I have a friend who named there girl this 2 years ago)
Jasmine
Minnie
Daisy
Pocohontes
Alice (in wonderland)

Any others?

Thanks.

Meg (Megara)
Belle
Wendy
Cindy (Cinderella)
Cleo (from Pinocchio)
Bianca (from the Rescuers)
Jenny (from Oliver & Co.)
Esmerelda (from Hunchback)
Jesse (from Toy Story 2)
Mary (Mary Poppins)
Dory (from Finding Nemo)
Lilo
Nani
Aurora (Sleeping Beauty)
Peg (from Lady and the Tramp)
Suzy (from Cinderella)
Perla (from Cinderella)

And of course all of Ariel's sisters: Aquata, Adrina, Arista, Atina, Adella, Anana

And I'm sure there's more I'm missing!!

Jane (Tarzan)
Marian (Robin Hood)
Anastasia & Drizella (Cinderella Step Sisters)

the name "Hayley" after Hayley Mills of Pollyanna, Summer Magic and, of course, Parent Trap fame? It would be very Disney but not so much that it's super obvious to everyone that it is...

Of course, with how babies are, maybe "Pooh" would be a good name for awhile whether it's a boy OR girl! :rolleyes1

I actually know a girl named Cinda after Cindarella. It is a very pretty name and it sounds really cool when you say it. :cool1:

My husband's cousin is named Cynda, pretty but not overly obviously Disney. I have a friend named Dominique, but everyone calls her Minnie for short. A little more traditional, but you can get a great Disney connection.

Please let us know what you decide!

I love Lillian - VERY Disney & very sweet. Lilli for short is adorable. Not too over the top either.

Call me crazy...but I like the name "Disney"!

My other votes are for Aurora, Cynda, and Suzy.

How about Jessica? My own DGD named Jessica loves collecting anything Disney about Jessica Rabbit. On our last trip she traded pins every day to get a lanyard full of Jessica pins!

My daughter's name is Allison. When my nephew was younger, he always called her "AllisonWonderland"!!! On his first visit to Disney, he bought her a cup with Alice in Wonderland on it - "cuz that's her name"!!!

Congratulations!!!!

Lillian - the name of Walt's wife.

That is what I was going to say as well. I love the name Lily.

In our local community the paper puts our a graduates insert at this time of the year. I actually saw this and did a double take. There was a graduate named Disney (his first name). The comment made at our house was " I wonder if he was a little souvenir from a trip 17 years ago?"

I also like Briar Rose (Sleeping Beauty's peasant name). Enjoy your baby, give it lots of love, hugs and Disney!

I named my 11 yr old daughter after the big cheese himself:

MICKEY!!

Her official name is Mickenzy Alayne, in case she does not want to use Mickey as a professional name when she's older.

Someone 3 towns up the road from us copied this name (even the spelling) within a year from when my daughter was born! It was in the county birth statistics. I did a double take, someone stole her name!!

She'll always be "MY MICKEY"!!

Daisy Duck's nieces- April, May and June
Minnie Mouse's nieces- Millie and Melody(also in LMII:RTTS)

I used Melody for my first DD and (Isa)belle Lily May for my second. Unfortunately we can never find any merchandise with Melody on it. As you can probably tell, I was an even bigger Disney fan when second DD was born. Poor girl was given 3 disney names :)

My oldest daughter now calls herself Melody Cinderella Minnie Disney :rotfl:
