Disney Refund Question

Not sure where to ask this exactly, but I spend a lot of time reading here, so I thought I would see if anyone can help me out here. We may have to cancel our Disney Vacation due some family stuff . I have been paying all along on this vacation and in the process I used two different credit cards to make payment. Half was made on one credit card that is now paid off and we have closed and the other half was paid on a card that we use and pay off monthly. Will they apply the amounts back to the cards as they were charged or just put the credit back on the last card used? Of course, I dont want them to credit back a closed card as that would be a mess. I tried to call Disney but they are closed, so I thought I would see is somewhere here could help!

I just had to cancel my trip as it fell right when dd college tour would be. I was told if the card that was used wasn't valid anymore, Disney would send a check.

I used part gift card, part debit card...they put the money back on the gift card and my money was back in the bank today (2 days to refund).

So they won't appy the entire deposit to one card, it will go to whatever card you used for that portion. So you will probably get a check for the closed one. Congrats by the way!

Now of course, ask a question to 10 CMs and you may get 10 different answers so don't take it as the rule, just my experience.

Sorry you had to cancel, I hated to...had a great Value rate of $53 per night from a pin code. College Tour? Vacation? College Tour? Vacation? Kind of a no-brainer, but sad nontheless. Oh well, now I get a year more to plan and DIS!
