I haven't heard anyone talk about Disney Quest. I have 3DS 14,13,11. This is our first visit. From what I have read they will enjoy it. Will I?-I don't really do video games. How long would be needed to see it?

We went 2x this trip... DisneyQuest is not really video games, I mean they are there, but picture 5 floors of Virtual Magic Kingdom. The Jungle Cruise there was hysterical, albeit exhausting (we had to paddle our own boat!)
My daughter was a human pinball more times than I could count.
My cousin built his own roller coaster and then rode it.
We saved Agrabah and the Genie on virtual magic carpets.
You can't really explain DisneyQuest... but it was FUN!

Disney Quest is a blast. The elevator itself when you first get one is worth the price of admission. Oh you want a workout? Try the Mighty Ducks Pinball Game. :rotfl2:

Virtual PoC is a good workout too. Players run around the deck of a small pirate ship to fire cannons.

Your boys will love it! Try and go when it isn't too crowded. Mid week is best. If you don't like the place, then bring along a book and get a piece of cheesecake and sit back and read or check email in the cafe. I would figure three hours if it isn't crowded and longer if it is....have fun...

Suggest you get there at opening if you can. I believe they opened at 11:30am last month. Like at the theme parks, you can get a lot done early. It starts getting crowded after the first couple of hours. My DS (almost 15) loves to make a virtual roller coaster. I let him make a real crazy one last month because I watched from the outside...would not ride with him!
As someone else said, the virtual Pirates of the Caribbean is really fun.
Much to do and enjoy. Plan on a few hours there, at least.

My 12 year old grandson liked it so much when we went in May we ended up buying him an Annual Pass. It was much cheaper than daily tickets. Also be sure to buy your tickets from Ticketmania before you go if they are not included with your package.

My 3 teenage sons love DQ so much that we went twice this past week.
Again, go early if you can. We went about 11:30 last Wed morning (after a morning at TL) and the place was fairly empty. We went again on Sat at about noon and it was a little more crowded. Definitely do the Pirates of the Carib virtual ride- it is so much fun. Also, for the parents, DQ is nice and cool and the food at Cheesecake Express is really better than I expected. (the Italian panini was quite good.)

I personally disliked DisneyQuest very much, but my son's seemed to enjoy it. I would stress to you NOT to go when it is raining outside, it is not worth the ridiculous crowds. Go early and stay a couple of hours. In my opinion, I would not pay additional $ to go to DQ, but it's a hit with the youngsters!! enjoy

We went to Disney Quest twice on our last visit. We had a blast! My 10 year old DD loved recording her own song. We also did the virtual roller coaster, the Buzz Lightyear ride (one person drives the vehicle while the other person fires balls at people). You can ask on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride to have an auto pilot so you can concentrate on firing the cannons without steering. :earsgirl:
