We (four moms, two 13 girls, two 13 boy) will be going on the Disney Wonder Nov 4th cruise. We are flying in on Wednesday, and were planning on getting a hotel at Downtown Disney for Wednesday evening. We should arrive at Downtown Disney around 6:00 pm.

I think the kids would love Disney Quest, and was wondering if it would be worth the admission price for just the evening. I think they close at 11, so that would give then atleast 4 hours.

Any advice or comment are appreciated

Yes, I have four kids and i don't like arcades but i really enjoyed DisneyQuest myself. We went in at 10:00 am and came out at 10:00pm. They will have a very good time.

DQ is a great place and I think your your teens would really like it. However, in all honesty I am not sure its worth a full day admission price for just 4 hours. I would instead just walk around Downtown Disney and get ready for the cruise myself.

I would second the fact that four hours probably isn't enough time. I'm sure they would all love it, but to pay the full admission price at a time when it will be the busiest doesn't seem like it would be worth it.

I think it is worth the admission if your kids love video games. All the arcade games inside are free and there are Virtual Reality games too for no additional cost.

If you only had an hour to spend then it wouldn't be worth it, but as long as you are going to spend at least 2 hours then I think it is worth it. The most time I have ever spent in DQ at one shot is 3 hours. 4 hours should be more than enough time to get your money's worth and for them to have a ball. :D

My son (11) and I (31) always have a blast when we go in there. :)

Have a great trip and cruise!

While I would definitely agree with cindy_k that 4 hours could be enough time, isn't it often busy in the evening? To be honest, we've only gone in the early am - right around opening. I would hate for you to spend your money and then not be able to do anything other than play just the regular old arcade games. The plus is that you'd be going mid-week. Anyone else out there know about the crowds in the evening?
