Disney Quest ticket question

We've never visited Disney Quest, but we're planning to go on this next trip. Once we have our tickets, can we come and go? I'm thinking that we might go to Disney Quest in the morning, then head over to a waterpark mid-day, then come back to Disney Quest in the late afternoon.

How busy is Disney Quest likely to be on a Saturday in July?

Here is a link to allearsnet.com page on DQ - short answer is yes, you can get a handstamp for re-entry. Regarding the crowds, I have read that Saturdays get fairly crowded all year round, particularly if there's rain.

We have PAP which includes DQ. Dh and DS go all the time. Saturday nights can get very crowded. My suggestion to you upon arrival to DQ in the morning (DQ only opens late in the morning,) is to go to 1st floor and do Pirates and Jungle Cruise. Head next to Cyber Space mt. on the 2nd floor. Then go to Buzz on the 3rd floor and Mighty Duck pinball slam. Eat lunch on the 5th floor, (Quest Burgers are awesome!) Head to the waterpark between 2 and 3pm. By 3pm, the waterparks start to clear out. You can experience as much late in the day as you can 1st thing in the morning. We often head to a water park after school. Even in the winter, we can do so much between 3:30 and closing at 5pm! If you aren't too tuckered out, head back to DQ. You have the major things out of the way and can just relax and have fun playing games. Ride the Comix and Alien Encounter have lines that move quickly.

Disney Quest doesn't usually open until something like 11AM. In July, there is a good chance the water park would be closed to additional guests after about 11AM and then not reopen until about 3. Would that still work for you? You could go to the water park first when it opens (go to TL since it is so close), then go to DQ for a few hours, back to the water park and back to DQ.
