Never done Disney quest before. Once inside do you have to pay for anything else other than food? Are all the rides and arcade games included? And is the pirates of the Caribbean ride a simulator ride?

Every ride/game is free and you'll have a great time, check out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DisneyQuest which list a lot of the games and if you don't mind not being surprised on the day then check out youtube for the Pirates of the Caribbean ride such as http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CKq_IZ2v0Y0

If you're going to be staying on site with one of the free dining plans then Food Quest is included in the plan, so it could all be free.

We had mixed experiences in there, first time we went in at opening (11am?) expecting a 2-3 hours and out for lunch. We ended up eating lunch in there plus dinner, they had to kick us out at closing (11pm?)
Another visit we went in and it was far too busy, not fun at all, stayed a couple of hours and out.
If its quiet its a great place.

Seriously, unless it's been removed there was a section where you got tickets for winning and the tickets could be traded in for prizes and that was chargable, but everything else was free.

It's been a while since I've been in as I downgraded to a regular AP but when I've been in there it's always been fun. Just avoid the place when the weather's bad as that's when it's packed!

We went in October. There is no cost to make record a song but if you want it on CD you have to pay for it. There was also a Mickey artist where you create a scene with disney characters you could buy that as a print. Apart from that I don't remember anything else.

We loved it there and can't wait to go back x

Oooh this is good to hear. This will be my 6th trip to Disney and I've never been in DQ! I always assumed (thought I'd read it somewhere) that it was free to get in (with your Disney pass) but had to pay to play the games like a regular arcade.

Will definitely add it to our list of things to do in that case!!

February will be our first trip to DQ (lots of WDW trips) and we are EXCITED! Sounds awesome. The boys (ages 17 & 13 and big gamers) will L - O - V - E it!

I read that in the unofficial guide 2013 that it costs p/p to enter Disney Quest, is this incorrect then? It is in DTD right?

I love DQ! Last we went my DD's were young for it but they are 10 and 7 and will love all the arcade games and interactive stuff. DQ is a big highlight for us, as long as it isn't too busy!

Yes, doesn't matter if you have a day ticket or its part or a multi day ticket you can come and go as much as you like.
