We did both for the first time last year (Oct. '06)...and we were pleasantly surprised at how good SeaWorld was...
DQ - my boys really enjoyed it (8 & 6) but there really wasn't much for our daughter (2yo) to do, some of the waits even in off season were excruciatingly long (there are really only a couple of headliner games here)...I did enjoy some of the retro-games (donkey kong and asteroids) but this year we've decided not to go back...and this place is painfully loud, in fact since we had the "waterparks plus more" ticket we went to DQ a couple of times, but we never took our DD2 back after the first time (we would split up and take her elsewhere - she is just too little to enjoy all those video games)
SeaWorld - we've purchased a length of stay ticket for 13 days this year and plan on going at least 3 or 4 times...it's that fun...Kraken is awesome, Blue Horizons was great and the park just has a low key, relaxing feel to it...we even brought a picnic lunch and sat lake side all alone...it's not as intense as a Disney Park and you can't beat the free beer at the Hospitality House after a long afternoon with the kids...SeaWorld has something for everyone, DQ doesn't...
