Wanted to share our experience in case it helps someone. We bought platinum plus APs about a week and a half ago. When we purchased them I specifically asked if DQ was included and was told is was as long as DQ was open. We decided to go to DQ tonight. We went up to go in and our magic bands were denied. We were sent to the ticket window. The person there gave us tickets and told us we had to go to guest relations at DS tonight.

We enjoyed DQ and then set off for guest relations. After we walked to where it used to be and then back to where it is now located, we were helped by a great CM who said DQ is not included. She added DQ annual passes to our accounts without me asking, but said it wasn't really included and was sure to point out it might close at any time.

So, we now have DQ included, but I gues I would advise folks not to count on it!

You got pixie dusted for sure. That was a guest recovery method used last fall after the changeover, but it "officially" stopped in mid-November of last year.

Personally I wish they'd just add DQ back into the passes, just "unadvertised" the way the WPF&M tickets have it, since DQ has stayed open longer than expected.

Our passes switched from the old Premium (including DQ) to the new Platinum Plus ones in May. We were told they would not include DQ and tried a couple times while at DS and each time were told that they no longer included DQ. When my Navy son was home this summer (his old pass didn't expire until late July), we went to GS and asked nicely and they gave me a 1 day DQ ticket to go in with him "one last time" but made it clear that this was a pixie dust thing and I couldn't do it regularly. As of Oct 4, none of the passes will include DQ any more so I wouldn't expect anything after that date. You definitely got some extra pixie dust in getting a DQ AP!

Thanks all for weighing in, the pixie dust was certainly nice. Since I asked specifically when we purchased the Platinum Plus passes if DQ was included and was told it was I guess we have another case of some in Guest Services not giving correct information, go figure!

I will say that DQ was exactly what we needed last night, DS (13) got a great hair cut at the barber shop in MK, but it turns out it didn't come out the way he wanted... It had been a rough day (not in any real sense, but he was super upset) so beating his mom soundly at air hockey, pinball, and assorted video games was just what the dr. ordered!
