Disney plans without dragging around a planner

How do you keep track of your Disney plans for the day without dragging a big huge planner with you around the parks? I would like a phone option. I know that I could do MDE, but I feel like it is very time consuming to enter in each ride we want to do in the proper order. Is there a faster way? I'd like to hear what other people do.
So for example, I want to record info like this.
Hollywood Studios
TSM no FP
Voyage of the Little Mermaid
Movie Ride
FP TSM
Muppets
Lunch at Pizza Planet
Car Show at 1:00
FP Star Tours
Naps/swim at hotel
FP Tower of Terror 5-6 pm
Dinner at ....
Fantasmic 7:30 pm

When we went last year I made a typed up sheet each day with our plans. This included park times, ADR's, FP's, parades, fireworks, etc. It also included the rides/shows we were hoping to do in between. I wrote it out like a planner and then printed each days plans out and ONLY carried that paper with us. Then at night I would take notes on it and save it for helping to plan future trips. Then the next day, I would grab the sheet for that day! It was to have something to pull out that didn't require a cell phone battery (since ours was busy with pictures/videos etc). Next time we'll be traveling with my in-laws so it will be nice just to print multiple sheets so everyone can have one to refer back to.

You could keep a spreadsheet like on Google Docs. Sometimes I will do that and take a screenshot of the day and then make it my phone's background so all I have to do is click the phone on to see the schedule.

Another idea is to send yourself an email for each day's plans and then pull them up on the day of.

I wouldn't carry around a piece of paper. Type it out as you did for this post, take a screenshot and as the pp suggested, make it your background.

I didn't find using MDE time consuming at all, but a quick list on a screenshot takes seconds to do really.

I'm not a phone person.

Last trip, I printed up one index card per day with our ADR and fastpasses on it.

I don't record quite as much info as you do, but I usually write a small memo (using the Evernote app) on my phone that has any FP's and ADR's for the day. Since I'm often offsite, I'll also make a note of where I parked the car (like Simba 123 rear). I prefer that to going into MDE, simply because its quicker. I'm also not opposed to jotting the same down on a piece of paper and sticking it in my pocket.

I print my touring plan on a piece of paper that's the size of a credit card and stick it in my wallet.

Another vote for Google Sheets. I love that I can share plans with others in our group and is updated anytime a change is made without having to email/notify everyone. In one document, I have a sheet for notes/packing lists/tips (that I've collected from you wise DISers), another for overall schedule, and several smaller sheets that just have the itinerary for the specific day. I'm planning on taking screen shots of the days and emailing everyone plans day of. Also printing index card size of daily itinerary (just one) to carry as back up on case my phone dies.

Have fun planning!

MDE has an itinerary feature, where your ADRs and FPs are automatically in there but you can also include other things. I personally am not fond of MDE because it only seems to work about 3/4 of the time (an improvement from earlier when it was not even 1/2 but still....)

I use the calendar on my cell phone......just record things that are scheduled as "appointments" and non-scheduled things as "all day" events. Then I set up my phone for my calendar to be my home page so all I have to do is turn the phone on and there it all is.

I printed mine on a sheet of paper when I went...but also like the idea of taking a screenshot and making it the wallpaper on your cell!

You can also take a picture for each day's plans and view the picture of what you have written out. You can zoom, etc to see it better. Lots of good ideas for workarounds here, definitely don't take a big physical binder.

I wrote up my itinerary at work on a sheet of paper for my time at Disney in a few weeks. Just wrote down my FP+s, park times, where I want to eat for lunch and dinner and that's it. Just a rough outline of my day.

I might transpose it into my phone though into my Notes since I'm sure a piece of paper won't last thru Kali River Rapids or a storm in my pocket.

Note cards have always been my go to. It fits easily in whatever bag I carry but also doesn't take up much space.

Laminated Spreadsheet - 1 sheet of paper, front and back. That's what we use.

I like having paper. It doesn't require wi-fi or good cell connection to look at. :)
