As most of you know we're surprising the children for this years trip :D

We'll be revealing on the day we leave with a DVD I've made after telling them there's an 'electric fault' at school so won't be going in at 9 as usual ;)

So I'm now looking for an idea on a booklet/planner for the kids on the plane, but my mind is a blank for ideas! :confused3

I want them to see everything we're doing (all I can think of it print out sheets but I want something more imaginative and personal than a simple print out of each thing), so they can see what each day will bring, and also lots of activities (word searches, crosswords etc) to occupy them on the plane!

I've taken the first step and bought two folders, one pink and one blue, with 40 pockets and I want to fill them all (the longer I can keep them reading/looking on the plane the better!). :cheer2:

Has anyone got ideas as to designs, set up, wording, anything! I think once I start it'll start to flow, but starting is impossible with everything else crammed in my head at the minute! lol :scared:

go to WDW website, on the "where to eat" section.
Choose any restaurant and go for the details.
On the right hand side you sometimes get a link for this restaurant's kids menu.
clicking the link will almost always open a PDF file with the actual menu.
Those kids menu have crosswords, activities and designs

that might give you some ideas.

for example, here's the kids menu for GF

and the other one for GF (breakfast) http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/me.../grand-floridian-cafe-menu-kids-breakfast.pdf
kona's breakfast http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/me...aType/Dining/KonaCafe/kona-cafe-menu-kids.pdf

and there are many more

I bought my DD The Kids Guide to The Magic for her surprise trip 2 years ago and it was brilliant! It kept her busy on the plane, loads of fun facts, places for autographs if required, and best of all, also served as a daily journal whilst there. I only have one child but I'd quite happily have got one between two of them

That's a fab idea thank you!!! I'm printing them off now as we speak :D

And although I have a lot of ADR's I don't need to stick to only those, I can use all of them really, plenty there :D

Just had a quick nose there, looks fab thank you, it has a lot about planning the trip, before you go etc though but they will be on the plane the first time they see it, is there enough about the actually holiday, or an online version so I can pick and choose which pages to stick in their folder?
