Of course, this may just be a licensed venture. Anyone know anything more about this?
Reportedly from the Korean Herald, via Miceage:
In fact, no cash investment for this Korean theme park project is now planned by MGM, though the company might consider securing up to a ten percent stake in the future. MGM executive vice president told reporters "we have licensing relationships, and it's not a joint venture. We'll expect five million annual visitors by establishing an entertainment venue where people can enjoy various leisure and shopping facilities not only in the daytime, but also at night." Glovit inc, a primary developer for the project had struck an exclusive license agreement with MGM for 45 years in Korea, and is now seeking investors for the project. Capital will come from Korea, China and Japan.
