Disney Pin Exchange - Sent/Received thread

So sorry I haven't posted earlier...

I received 2 pins from Pin Girl 65....

Mickey in a nifty red bow tie...a round pin that says Neat N Pretty...

A very tall slim pin with a new style Snow White....very different and cool

Sorry all...but work has been crazy....the gas panic here in Atlanta caused me to have to work some OT :)

Thanks all!

PS....I think I am supposed to receive another package but not sure ?

Oh SO sad I missed this one. Do you guys do it again? I just adore exchanges! I have done them for 3 years on my birth club board and they are always so much fun! Can't wait to join in these! :cool1:

Sorry you missed this one. This is the first time we have done a Disney Pin exchange so if someone decides to do another it may be awhile.

So glad that you enjoyed both of the pins! The Snow White pin was a new variety that I saw when I was at WDW this past spring - they have all of the princesses like that (individual) and there are also some that have them in groups as well! I was worried that you did not receive them - glad to know that they made it there. We also have the gas panic in CT (close to 3.50/gallon).

Take care,

Kathy (pingirl65)

Let's not wait too long!!! I really liked this exchange and would love to do it again!!! :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

I agree with Miste we should do it again real soon this time both my daughters would like to participate. My youngest daughter was upset with me for not including her in this oops bad daddy.

Bad, bad, bad daddy.

Maybe we can find someone willing to host another one around Dec.

Received my pin package today from Poohnatic. Two absolutely great pins - ones I have never seen before.

The first one was a Magical Gatherings Epcot Illuminations one. It looks like a book with "tiny stamp illustrations" of the countries. And in the middle, is the words "Epcot Illuminations with a fireworks display". The back states Magical Gatherings 2004.

The second is a Mickey small oval pin - from the Disney Store with Mickey looking like a director working on a movie and it says" the Disney Store, It all started with a Mouse" and has a small oval insert at the bottom that says 17 years. On the back it states "CM exclusive 2004".

Both absolutely great additions to my collection!! I probably will not trade these! Thanks so much Poohnatic - you have a friend here it CT!

They will look great in my newly designed pin binders that I put together last week!

Thanks again and can't wait until the next exchange!! Count me in - I am already gathering pins that I think might be interesting to exchange!

Someone suggested that the pin exchange be more interactive

I guess everyone would send the organizer a pin as the starter set - then sends the box to #1 on the list - who then takes out the pins they like (maybe a max of 2-3) adds in the same number of pins they put in (pin trading) and sends it to #3 on the list - who trades thier pins and sends to #4, etc.

we would really have to work on the logisitics - but that could be fun - also people could join in as the trade went along -

there would be the initial investment of one pin to be in the trading circle but it sure would be fun to pick from a group of pins!
