I'm curious about that too. I'm pretty sure they call it Autopia in DL but did they rename it Tomorrowland Indy Speedway in WDW?

Thank you, Thank you! Keep them coming.

PS- I love Main street in the MK, does anyone have some unique shots they could share???

No. it's always been called Tomorrowland Indy Speedway. It's an original from when WDW opened!
The cars are "Autopia Mark VII" race cars.
Here's a link to some history on it... on the Allears web site...

I've been wondering, with how brilliant Disney is with their marketing, why have they not changed the Indy Speedway into a ride featuring their movie Cars? It's race cars in Disney, and it would probably be a cheap (for Disney) renovation. Just change the bodies of the cars, and change the cars outside of the ride into Lightning McQueen and Mater (or Sally). Oh, and of course the requisite 'Cars' merchandise shop at the exit of the ride.

Alot of people have asked the same question.
But I think that Disney needs to see the "longevity" of Cars before they make changes like that. That movie has been around less than 4 years.
If it stays as popular as it is now..... I'm thinking they just might do that in about 5 yrs or so! :goodvibes
