Jud - loved the pic of the rainy day 1997 with all the yellow Mickey ponchos! We were there in March 1997 and I still have my poncho. Must have been the year of the cake castle and ponchos - it was my first trip to WDW and they turned the castle into a cake. I was SO disappointed but it was cute too.

Hi "C",

That was so funny- all of a sudden, Main Street was FULL of yellow poncho's! I was just about to shout out in good humor, "It's the attack of the Yellow People!!!" when I fortunately noticed a large party near me were Oriental! Yikes! That would have been embarrassing and quite misconstrued!

And I did just notice- if you look, you can see the Cake Castle off there in the distance...

Simply awesome!! They are really cool shots. What year is the first one from? I don't remember when the castle looked like that:cloud9:
Thank you soo much!

Glad you enjoyed them!

First one was April 06, about 2am! After shooting the America's Funniest Home Video's special show. Full album here:

The thing that made the Main Street imagery so interesting is that all the facades were lit as if in daylight yet still a black sky!

Thanks for the links, we thinking about getting into more photo taking. Do you know if this is a PhotoShop software?

One of them is Adobe- which is the author of Photoshop: a feature due on some future release.

The other one is a currently available add-on to GIMP, an open source free photo editing program.

I have neither, I use Corel (and love it!) but I will now be DLing GIMP on my Desktop so I can use that new add on!

I also have Infraview, another free DL, for batch processing.

:)
