NYC... LOL!

Missed your question. No. Those shots that I think you are referring to were from film and scanned. Late 90's.

Still trying to decide on the new camera. I found one that is exaclty what I want- basically a point and shoot with a great lens, nice and sharp, and all sorts of capabilities that I want, including manual zoom and time lapse and true HD vid... but it is more than a basic DSLR!!!! Argggggggggg!!!!

:)

No Jud, it just seems like your photos have gotten a lot clearer. What are you doing different?

Ah. Well, the recent Epcot Countries shots were a very special shoot where I entered early to get the good lighting (back door). I have also been doing a bit more post-processing since that seems to be the rule here. :) Basically just upping the saturation a bit. But those shots were a bit crisper than usual to begin with. I am trying, well, have tried over many specific visits to get definitive shots of each country. Ultimately I want to put together a collection of full portraits of each country from overview to fine details.

I found a shot from the Backlot Tour show from 2004:

It does make you think before volunteering . . . :lmao:

Aww...Herbie all wrapped up in a bow!! I'd like to find that under my Christmas tree!

Oh man! PERFECT timing on that one! If only my guy had such attention and timing!
BTW, the 'impact' is subjectively negligible. It looks great, but hardly more than a water ballon to the person in the seat.

:)

Thanks, Jud! :)

Looking at it a bit closer, it does look Imagineered to slow down the water flow near the bottom. Yeah, I'm an engineer (not a Imagineer, unfortunately). Still not sure I would volunteer for this though . . .;)
The boat scene did manage to knock down some of the volunteers. I may try to upload that one soon too. :thumbsup2

Oh go on! Do it! :)

There was nothing in the boat scene that I recall that would actually knock anyone down- though I did ham it up a bit and hit the deck! Damn man, they were firing live rounds! My 'partner', a stranger to me, ignored the whole thing and just kept on swabbing! LOL!

:)
