Since we are exactly 4 months away from Christmas, my POTD is Christmas related. Look who we saw in the Magic Kingdom on Dec 22, 2005! You'd think he would be busy!!! He sure was attracting alot of attention!

Is that an "official" Disney Santa? I heard they had to kick some "unofficial" guys out last year because they were interfering with the Santa that Disney had available for character meet n greets.

As far as I could tell, he was not an official Disney CM. We saw him throughout the day around the park and seemed to be with a couple of family members. He got lots of looks and comments. I saw him talking to people, but I don't remember seeing him "taking pictures" with people or signing autograph books. This pic was taken in Dec 2005.

Contrary to popular opinion, those are *not* garbage cans. They are pocket-tripod supports, which are cleverly disguised as garbage cans!

Actually, it was like this all night. We had a bad time...we were cold and wet and left early.:sad1: Here is the thread to my review w/ more pics:

I read what you posted on your thread and thats awful :grouphug: . I agree WDW could have handled it all better ...I know they don't control the weather but they can control if customers leave happy or not.

Still say.... getting rained on at WDW is better than not being there!

Those are amazing! We had rain like that the other day when the evil storms hit. Yikes! Even the rain is better at WDW.
And, along with showing how many trashcans there are, since it shows under the cans, it also proves that the trashcans are NOT hooked up to a giant vacuum that takes all the trash away. :lmao:
Old legends die hard.

My kids are just cracking up over that one. :thumbsup2

a bit of a different view of the castle...

I have to say I am hooked on this thread! I've been lurking on here for quite a while and I'm amazed at all the wonderful pictures. Now that I have enough posts I'll try posting one of my pics from our 2004 trip to WDW.

My dd (10 yo) has declared this to be a "way cool perspective"!!:thumbsup2 I didn't even know she knew what "perspective" was!! However, we are both in agreement on the "way cool" part!! Great job!:3dglasses

Gotta love them California blue skies (even though the attraction is dumbed down... :sad2: )

...Joe, can you tell me what you meant by your statement...

That is so cool - where is that located? TIA!:thumbsup2

It's in Epcot's France. :) It was beautiful during the Flower and Garden Festival, they even had topiary in the shape of perfume bottles! I don't know if they have them up all year long, I never noticed before then.

What you see on the other side of the hedge maze is the entrance/exit via "International Gateway" for the Epcot resorts.
