Disney Picture of the day Part 6

It was a very rainy day at the Magic Kingdom two weeks ago...

This makes 2 picture posts for today, but I had to add to this. One day during my WDW vacation in May we had a heavy downpour that lasted 45 minutes.

This was in Oct of last year when they were taking all the stuff down. Tells you how long it has been since I last shared pics. I shared some right when I got back and never got the rest loaded up to share.

Hey everyone.

Im going on my 2nd trip to WDW in November. I have been admiring all your POTD for a while now and plan on taking loads of photos when I go on my trip. I dont really wanna go for a DSLR as I dont have a) that much money and b) i want a compact camera that i can carry easily.

In the UK there has been a new camera advetised recently called the panasonic lumix tz3. Do any of you photographers out there have a professional opinion on this? Im lured by the 10x optical zoom on this. But how do think it will fare taking night shots and fireworks and parades etc?

Any opinions greatly appreciated.

Speaking of the Blue Ridge mountains, that is where I am now. We are near Maggie Valley. Here is a picture I took just yesterday .....

I just have to ask...where are you near Maggie Valley? Hope you're enjoying our beautiful area (except for the extreme heat! )!

You absolutely MUST get up there for sure. Your pictures are always amazing! I would love to see what you would capture.

My only regret was not taking my tripod with me. It was windy and the railing was vibrating.

Thanks! I really can't remember too clearly where the loom was since I was literally running through the WS trying to finish up my kids' mask sticks after they returned to the resort with DH. I think it was tucked away in a corner in the same courtyard as these two shots. All I remember is that I ran in, snapped a few quick shots, then took off for the next pavillion. How I got there, I couldn't tell you. So, if I'm wrong, someone please let me know!

OH BOY!! We're posting rain pictures!! I have one of those!

This was taken last December at MVMCP from just inside the theater where they put on "Twas the Night Before Christmas (Disney Style). It was pouring down so hard that the tarp over the theater was gushing too! Made for a very wet place to sit down when the show finally went on!!
