Took this one last year at MNSSHP That sure was a lot of fun!

Ummmmm.... what is he supposed to be?
I'm soooo looking forward to my first MNSSHP in Oct., but I don't think I'd want to run into THAT guy while I'm there!

he looks like the alien guys who were actually at the P&PP (i don't remember any at MNSSH).. they have these pogo devices on their feet so they can jump pretty high

Well he was there last year when we were at MNSSHP in September( we saw him early in the evening) ..... And this one didn't have any pogo device ( that you could see ) , he just walked around the area.

I remember someone saying they have a Gorillapod. I am going to hunt for a lightweight, compact, full-height tripod for our upcoming Nov trip and was also thinking about this. Any reviews?
