I thought that I'd post a photo from a different Disney place that is not very well known.

Walt Disney loved trains and he had a personal railroad in his backyard. He donated the trains and the barn (the control center) to the City of Los Angeles, which are now located in Griffith Park. You can catch a free ride on the trains every Sunday afternoon http://www.lals.org/.

Here is the website for Carolwood Pacific Historical Society, which has a link to Walts barn at the bottom of the page: http://www.carolwood.org/. The barn is now full of Disney Railroad memorabilia and it's only open the 3rd Sunday of each month, but is a real treat, especially for all you Disney & Railroad buffs out there!

So, if you're ever in Southern California be sure to stop on by. I'll post a few more photos of the place during the next few days.

Thanks for sharing this info, I live approx 30 mins from Griffith Park and go there every year for the holiday light show. I had no idea that Walts barn and trains are there. I will have to make a special trip there and check that out.

During the Pirate and Princess Party in Feb, we went in to visit the princesses in Toontown and had the pleasure of being entertained by the "Princesses Fashion Consultant" while we were waiting in line. If any of you have the opportunity to watch her in action, stop and enjoy the laughs!! She is great!!

Where can you see her? Who is she?

She is Devine and you can find her in AK. We found her last July as she was coming out of the backstage area (the gates are behind her in the pic).
