Cool shot! One of the young giraffes was doing the same thing when we were on Safari in August. It kept running back and forth across the road towards a truck that was parked by a tree.

I'm glad you said that you didn't feed them! I get so aggrivated at people mistreating the ducks!! When we were waiting for the water pageant on the beach at the WL, this little girl was chasing these poor little ducks around for like 20 minutes. The poor things looked so scared! It was just making me crazy! I kept saying how I wished she would stop, without realizing that her father was within range of me but he just smiled and did not tell her to stop. I guess it's not a BIG deal but it's just one of those things that rubs me the wrong way and I can't understand why parents let their children do this. It's like animal torture!

(Am I going a little overboard for ducks? Ducks are living creatures too!)

Nope. You are spot on. People that treat animals in this way or allow their children to do so are flat out irresponsible.

Time to get in the mood for Halloween!!!
Sorry that most of my MNSSHP trips were "pre" digital..... and these couple were with a 2mp (I think) Just know they are petty old...
But it's better than nothing.

I laugh at your comment... but I feel the same way about the ducks chasing my dd just turned 5. She was eating a soft pretzel on a bench and they started to peck at her legs trying to get her to drop some. We had to leave she was so scared. Please don't feed them now my dd is afraid of ducks. It was child torture. I'll have to find my picture of them following her.
