Wow, thats cool. I never knew that. Just to go show you DO learn something new everyday. By the way I have to agree that it does look like a fish and a snake.

that would be the point. it's a defense mechanism. makes it less appealing to predators, if not confusing.

it's common on fish too, to have a false eye on their tails.

I purchased something for the first time there last month. It was very good and a real Disney bargain at about $2.00. I got 3 marshmallows covered in dark chocolate with M&M's, peanuts, peanut butter cup pieces, and butterfinger pieces. I don't know why I never did this before.

I don't know HOW I MISSED THAT TREAT! It sure does look good. I got something similar at the Villians (?) candy store on the West Side of DD during spring break--three marshmellows covered in chocolate and on a stick.

The one in your picture looks like it is one a MM straw. Is that how it comes or is that just an opt. illusion?!

i would believe, as someone else pointed out, that it actually is an owl butterfly. amazing either way.

interesting article incidentally. seems to suggest that in many cases, its defense is somewhat questionable, if even the intent.

Yes...it came on a MM straw. Here's the order form for other options. I don't know how much the other "bases" costs but someone ordered an apple the same time I got mine. Her apple was a lot more-something like $6 or $7 or maybe more of course there would be a lot more to the apple than a few marshmallows.
