It was taken about 9:30 in the morning. We'd just ridden Big Thunder 3 times in a row, but Spash was under refurbishment.

Here is mine of the day. Our first morning at the world, and the kids were just beside themselves with happiness over meeting minnie mouse! (ds couldn't believe she was there to see them at their table. rofl) I wish the darned chair wasn't in the view, but i had to snap the pic at the right moment. :O)

Today's POTD entitled, "Having fun in the fountain at Epcot!":

ps. It was about 65 degrees that day. People kept walking by and staring at my kids playing in the fountains and asking "Is the water heated?" When we said no (it was pool temp, not "warm"), they'd then ask where we were from. When we told them Michigan, they'd nod in understanding! Crazy northerners!

Too cute. Love the picture and the story. You all sound like my DH's family , also Michiganders If there isn't at least a foot of snow then it can't possibly be cold .

This is a great shot. As it sits did you photoshop it or or did you just use your camera settings. I know that many people have asked you this before but what camera do you use? I am also using it as my wallpaper right now, hope you don't mind.

I take it you went to Pirates and Princesses? I heard the fireworks were phenomenal... How was the party?

The party was ok. I couldn't believe the lack of people. The parade started at 8:30 and at 8:00 you could pretty much pick any spot on Main Street to sit. I'm not used to that. I didn't care for the parade. I thought it was boring and I expected a lot more. Most of the floats were taken from other parades. The fireworks were pretty good. I got to see some characters- Mickey, Donald, Lilo, Stitch, Flounder, two other fish from The Little Mermaid, Anastasia, Drizella, Lady Tremaine, and the camels. I wanted to see Jack Sparrow but there was a fifty minute wait. If they did this party again I'm not sure if I'd go. I'd probably only consider it if they changed the parade.

These are of my DH from the Indiana Jones show at MGM. He was chosen as an extra - very funny and cool for all of us except DS4 who thought they really killed his daddy It was very traumatic for him and we won't even show him these pictures. This is one of those things I wouldn't do again until the kids are much older and understand "pretend" a little better.
