Debbie 6221 - my weird sense of humour - what does -23 "feel" like - except, of course, the obvious - COLD!! Living where the temp rarely gets below 50deg, and presently it is 83deg, I find that sort of temp hard to imagine!! I hope it warms up quickly for all of you!
Back on topic, thanks for all the great photos - I love checking out this board every day that I can. Hope to be able to contribute later in the year!!

Hi Im not the OP but i figured i would give you some insite. when you go out side and its -23 its like standing in a freezer whos temperture control is broken. Once the wind starts to blow you cant feel your face anymore and its hard to breathe. Its really not fun at all. Your so lucky you have great weather over there!

I second that.......
To make myself feel better I always try and visualize one of those "I shouldn't be alive" stories from the Discovery channel to make myself stop feeling sorry for myself.

These are some great shots!! You guys keep giving me so many ideas and i can't even go back for almost 2 years

So, since we're on the subject of weather, I was curious as to whether there was anywhere in the US that isn't freezing to death? We were having such a nice winter, lows in the 40's and such until January. Since the new year started our high has been something like 32 and over the past 3 weeks our average temps have been somewhere between -3 - -12. I realize that's not as cold as a lot of you... but we had to raise complete @#*@ to get the school system to close school during those cold temps. In fact this is the first day they've closed it for the temps. I'm not sure why our crazy superintendant thinks 5 year olds should stand out in below zero temps to catch a bus...
