Did you by any chance take the Segway Tour? On the tour, they pointed out that since the Imagineers knew Tower of Terror would be visible behing Morocco from accross the lagoon, some of the architecture and colors used to design Tower of Terror were used to make it blend in with Morocco...

Yes I did take the segway tour, thats how I find out about it, probably would have never noticed it without someone pointing it out to me.
