Here is a pic of Disneyland Paris on Christmas 2006, it was so foggy you could barely see the castle, Big Thunder or Space! Creepy!!

If you've ever stood at night either in the queue or just looking at the Haunted Mansion, you would have noticed that every couple minutes, they flash very bright strobe lights that give a spooky "lightning" effect. It is very cool and they even pipe a "thunder" sound effect throughout the area speakers... Well my goal was to capture this "lightning" effect on camera - and after a few shots - I did, and I posted the picture a few weeks ago...

My DPotD is one of the shots in which the "lightning" did not flash so the lighting you see in the pic is just the standard lighting they use to light the exterior of the ride:

Yeah, I figured I'd better set that one straight My kids have never been in a car without a car seat, much less seat belts... they don't know any different which is why i guess the 4 year old noticed that first thing

I didn't even notice the seat belt.

I was thinking about how exhausted my two kids are going to be after their very first day to WDW.

We will be staying at the POP so I will have to get a bus pic of them sleeping.

Great picture J.C.&ALI'SMOM! I love how you captured the moon kind of creeping out from behind the building Where is that though? For some reason I can't place it... I looks like Germany in Epcot to me, but I can't picture a place where there's outdoor seating like that

Joe-I am not the original poster, but this is inside at the Biergarten! I only know this because we sat in almost the same place as the photographer when we were there 12/23, during our candlelight processional dinner package! I love the pic!

Thanks, Joe. It is awesome getting a compliment from someone that I consider a real photographer!!! But yes, the above poster was right, it is in the Biergarten. We enjoy it there.

I'm working on my human flag....geez it's tough!

I keep seeing these awesome shots of AK and I'm really starting to regret only spending 1/2 a day there on our last trip. We didn't see very much of the park at all, we just did the headliner rides. It was day 4 and we were pretty wiped. You should see our photopass pictures! The photographer asked us to take off our shade....not a great idea! It was hot and humid so we were sweaty plus it was right at rope drop so the coffee hadn't even kicked in yet. We looked horrible! I sent the website address to my mom just in case she wanted to order any pics and her fave was one of the two from AK that morning! What a maroon eh? I told her that she wasn't allowed to order one of those ones!

The bad part about this is that I can't see any pictures that were uploaded using photobucket because it's a "restricted" website here at my work....no idea why. Probably something to do with mp3's and file sharing!!!

Sorry for rambling....EXTREMELY bored this morning!

So if I'm understanding this correctly, this Biergarten is actually inside? Wow - sure fooled me... they sure do a good job of making it look outdoors... Oh well, that moon looks great regardless
