AWESOME pic! :goodvibes :goodvibes

Hey Fairy Tale Bride how did you get that photopass picture on here?? We have some wonderful photopass pictures but I can't seem to figure out how to share them here. I hope you have an idea other than a scanner too because mine is one the fritz. :rolleyes1

Try this if you have a Windows PC:

1. Go to your photopass picture that you wish to share on the photopass website. Make sure the image is fully visible on your screen. (Tip - press F11 if you want to toggle full screen on/off on your internet browser).

2. On your keyboard on the top row of keys there should be a key that reads "Print Scrn". Hit this key. Don't worry if nothing happens as nothing is supposed to happen just yet.

3. Open up the windows program "Paint". (From Windows XP click on Start menu, all programs, accessories and select Paint.)

4. Hold Ctrl and hit the "V" key on your keyboard (the Paste command). This should paste a picture of the entire screen, which has the photopass picture on it.

5. At the top of the screen click on File, Save As. When the dialog box pops up, click the drop down menu at the bottom that says "Save as type". Select JPEG from the drop down menu. Save the file to your desktop.

6. Close Paint.

7. Open the image with your image editor and crop the image so that all the stuff you don't want isn't in the picture.

8. Save the image.

Sounds complicated, I know, but really it's not that hard... The only downside to saving an image this way is it won't be high resolution by any means...

Woo Hoo...4 day to go and we will be back in the world! heres mine for today, Epcots fountains at sunset!

This is such an awesome picture!!:thumbsup2 I've tried to get the same shot, but mine always turn out so dark and the "ghosts" are barely discernable. How DID you do it??!!:confused3

I used a wide aperture (f/2.8) and a high ISO (1600) to gather a lot of light. I still ended up needing a 1/4 shutter speed. It's definitely a much easier shot for someone with a DSLR rather than a point & shoot.

An easier way would be to just grab the shot from my Smugmug site and tell people that you took it.

I'm not Fairy Tale Bride, but I'd like to help! :)

As far as I know, there's no other way to get your photopass photos here unless you buy them and scan them in, or purchase the CD and upload them to Photobucket or Imagestation, etc.

There is a way, I'm just not sure I can post that info. here:confused3

Mark, your slide show is just awesome. You really know how to capture some wonderful memories with your family on film. I enjoyed watching it. Thanks for posting.

OK... My
PotD is not all that great, but it is very special to me. It is of mainstreet 2 weeks ago while I was on my honeymoon. DH & I stayed until 1:30am for the Kiss Goodnight. It was magical and just SO COOL to see main street deserted as we left the park. I'm pretty sure we were the last ones out that evening. :goodvibes :goodvibes
