ClaraBug, welcome to the thread!

I love the inside of Mexico as well, but I don't even attempt to take a photo in there, not without a tripod!

Here's my PoTD:

WOW! Great shot! Where was this taken from? I've never even noticed that the man on the "pole" is standing on some sort of animal which to me looks like a dinosaur! Does anyone know what it is? (I'm 100% Italian and have been to the real Venice, you would think I should know such things!)

More Goofy's Barnstormer, and the last of the Barnstormer pics that I have.

Last Sunday, December 10, they were doing some touch up work on the Castle. Think it would make a great new attraction? ;)

Here's a close up as they were swinging him to a new location.

Not far from Alfredo's. My DH said it could be St. George, the patron saint of knights/crusaders?

Here's a closer up of the man on the pole with the beast:

Jeff,

You take some awesome fireworks shots! I've got a P&S Sony; is there any way that I can produce shots like yours? I'd just like to get decently clear fireworks shots, I'll be taking my gorillapod with me on our next trip in May so that should help but what about shutter speed, ISO and all of that other stuff?

Is this where the suite is? I've always tried to locate it on the castle...

If it is it was dumb luck... I just zoomed in on a part that I liked and snapped the photo... :confused3

I've been to Venice a few times. There are two of these large pillars as you enter St Mark's Square in Venice, I think this one in Epcot is a replica of one of the columns, someone correct me if I'm wrong!
They are seen as the gates to Venice. Supposedly, if you walk in between the two pillars, it is bad luck. I think it was also in between these two pillars that they used to execute people. I don't know what the dinosaur thing is! :confused3
