wow...just before I panned down to your post I was sitting there thinking the same thing...kinda take away some of the magic:sad2:
Again - I'm sorry. I guess I assumed everyone knew there was a backstage, or behind the scenes, at the parks. I guess I don't see it any differently than seeing a movie set... it doesn't make the movie any less fascinating to me. But to each his own - and I should have thought of that.

P.S. If you are worried about the *magic* being ruined, you definitely should NOT take the "Keys to the Kingdom" tour offered at the Magic Kingdom. From what I hear you actually go down in the utilidors and see the occasional Cast Member walking around in their regular street clothes :scared1:

Hey Joe! You must be getting ready for your trip. Have fun and think of us while your toting around your Camera! :surfweb:

After seeing KatInHat's POTD, I thought I'd post this one.

My dd, apparently left by her Dad to wander the streets of the big city while ds and I waited to meet the CARS... :) (I have other photos of her laughing in this same spot, but the almost bewildered look seemed more appropriate for a wandering baby! :rotfl:)

Taken on January 31, 2007 - our very first family vacation to anywhere!! I absolutely LOVE how this picture turned out. I got alot of good ones on that trip, but this is the only one I have printed so far. I would love to make a huge print of it and have it framed.

Morning ALL....

Thought you might like to see the progress of construction @ the CR as of last week....

Seems to be as rumors had it, a C with attached walkway to the orig CR on the 4th floor. You can see where the dirt pile is, large cement colums/rebar coming over to the CR.
Here's a lousy night pic of columns.

Also..the 4th floor observation deck is partially a const storage facility..walled up, and of course, on the monorail side closest to the castle. So...no good night fireworks viewing from here.

That's cool- I took a few pictures of that also- The white pick-up truck in the first one is actually from the company I work for- we are doing the electrical on that project.

Joe- For the record I was not really 'disturbed' per se- just kidding around a bit. They did try to walk us out that way once when it was extremely crowded but we passed on it and just inched our way down Main St. :)
