I'm a big fan of capturing direct lighting of the sun, whether early, late, or peeking out between clouds or mountains

Wow, that is just beautiful - my littlest guy (2yo!) is sitting here with me looking at the "mouse" pictures and when this came up he went in a very hushed voice "ooohhh, caasstlllee!" very sweet - and very awesome shot!

I like the effects of this one. I have to find a better spot to watch the parade the next time. That day was spur of the moment, and not the best "seat" in the house!!!!
