Good spot Marge - pixiedust prize (low fat variety) is on its way.

The plate indeed is loaded with Zebradomes from Boma. In fact I was so happy to finally post a pic that I posted the wrong one. The above photo shows the domes rather more clearly. And yes the hidden Mickey was my lovely wife's idea. Can't wait for July when we can savour these wonderful desserts once again. :goodvibes

Oh you're going back in July!! a bit envious here! I just loved BOMA'S - the kids had a really fun time there as well - our server was terrific and gave the kids all kinds of little extras - smoothies and such! I did get several recipes from their staff and they are pretty easy to follow - however, zebra domes, just don't taste as sinful if you have to make them yourself!!! :goodvibes Have a great time on your return trip!! :cool1:

Dznefreek, I downloaded the Picasa2 software and it is very user friendly, thank you for recommending it! I've been playing around with some of the tools and fun effect stuff. Now that I've got a few shots I'd like to print, how do I upload them to Costco.com? I've looked through the selection that Picasa offers for developing/printing and Costco is not one of them. When I tried to search my desktop/etc for the pics, I could get into the Picasa file, but no pictures would come up in any of the files? not sure where I should look or if that's just not possible with this program. OR do I export them to another file and then load them up? sorry for the long question, but these gymnastic shots just look way cool with that soft focus touch and the b/w center color technique -- very fun stuff!!! Don't want to not be able to print them!!! :) Thanks for your help!

a view of BTM from PM @ DLRP!

How did you get to the spot to take this picture? I know where it should be but that should off limits to normal traffic.

Hey Dznefreek,

I really like the effect you create by changing pictures to black & white, but retaining some portions of the original picture in color. How do you do this? I would love to be able to create the same effect, but have no idea where to start. Can Picasa 2 be used for this? Corel Paint Shop? Helllpppp....

How do you do this?
Adobe Photoshop -
Edit>Adjustment>Desaturate, to get the black and white effect. Then you use the history brush to paint over the area you want to revert to color.

I could get into the Picasa file, but no pictures would come up in any of the files?
Try searching your hard drive using the pic name. Look in hidden folders as well under the search function. The thin blue bar below the pictures (in Picasa) you are working on will tell you where they are located on your drive.

Picasa is very cool, but I guess I'm completely blind. I can't find the history brush anywhere. In fact, I can't find any brushes at all, where do I find them. Sorry to be so numb...it's still early for me.

The History brush is part of Photoshop, not Picasa. It is in the Tools pallette, 5th item down on the right.
